SALES MANAGER SUMMARY The principal responsibility of the Sales Manager is to manage sales and contractual commitments of the existing, potential new customers and grow sales revenue and EBIT as defined by Director of Sales Americas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet daily, weekly, and quarterly sales and EBIT bookings targets. Manage and maximize revenue, EBIT and share within the structure of the operations and commercial team. Maintain and analyze essential metrics and necessary information to monitor the health of the contracts and non-contract business. Provide feedback to Seniors on performance. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to recover or improve TIMET performance in line with Contract and non-contract requirements. Prioritize Technical Support projects. Participate in negotiation of major agreements and amendments to the Contracts. Develop and nurture customer relationships at the highest level to support key accounts as well as TIMET business growth strategies. Coordinate and interact with other TIMET divisions including Operations, Q&T, Logistics, Finance in North America and Europe to develop the business proposition. Set goals and objectives with inside and outside sales reps. Direct sales people to meet weekly customer visits while penetrating each account to its highest level. Travel requirement is 15%.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience in contract management or negotiation. 3-10 years of Aerospace technical sales and/or marketing experience. Candidate should have worked for or worked with major Aerospace customers dealing at the senior levels. Ideally an Engineering or technical education. The ideal candidate for the role of Toronto Sales Manager must possess the perfect mix of account management, finance coupled with high energy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-year contract negotiating skills with strong financial and legal components. Strong financial analysis. Ability to formulate improvement plans and engage with other TIMET disciplines to deliver to these plans. Ability to develop strong enduring relationships. Strategic thinker. Analytical. Self-starter. Ability to drive action/change. Multi-task continuously. Strong computer skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves some overseas travel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Experience working on cross-functional teams. Experience with analysis, administration and/or management of contracts highly desired. Previous experience in commercial, export experience of benefit but not essential. College Degree Education level with preference for Engineering and/or Advanced Business Qualifications.
