The Role
The Sales & Marketing Analyst is a key member of our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO.
Key Accountability
Forecasting & Budgeting Revenue management Reporting analysis and actionability including KPI tracking A&P and other budget tracking
What You’ll Do
Forecasting and Budgeting
Own monthly forecasting process working closely with sales and marketing teams Analyze through available data sources to clarify forecast impact Liaise with leadership team to conduct ongoing risk and opportunities analysis
Revenue Management
Implement ongoing revenue analysis through multiple pricing tiers Support sales team in evaluating impact of any potential price changes Utilize revenue management system to validate existing pricing conditions and levels Maintain pricing information and data
Market Insights and Actionable Reporting
Utilize various data sources to compile effective reporting Provide ongoing analysis of existing data to drive insights and actions across broader teams Liaise with sales and marketing teams to provide reporting both across internal and external stakeholders Align and maintain ongoing KPIs to assess proper levels of execution
Advertising and Promotional Spend Management
Assisting marketing team in preparation of investment plans Maintain ongoing tracking and analysis of actual spends vs plan Partner with sales and marketing team to evaluate and optimize existing spending
Ad Hoc
Ongoing support and actionability across sales and marketing teams Work closely with Chief Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer to help drive decision making and analysis process Work closely with members of leadership team on special projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field 3-5 years of business, revenue management, or financial analysis experience is required, ideally in wine & spirits or CPG industry Strong Microsoft Excel ability, including working with large datasets from various sources Ability to flex and adapt Self-starter looking to own and drive processes Ambition to learn on the job and think through the process Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks Good communication skills to interpret data into actions Experience with EOS is a plus
Minimum Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license Light lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling may be required
