Molding Machine Operator
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Operation of molding machines, both automatic and semi-automatic setups as required. Clipping, trimming, and quality inspection of parts. Packing parts in required boxes and bins. Assembly of parts, either by hand or with tools. Collecting and grinding of scrap for cycle. May aid in the training of new operators. May participate in supplying all operators with required boxes. Responsible for clean up of work area and all aisle ways including the cleaning of machinery. Will perform other duties as required by supervisor.
Skills:
High school/GED education. Required to successfully complete operating training. Most of training is on the job. Requires manual dexterity in unloading, clipping, and trimming of parts. Must be able to keep up with production requirements as determined by machine cycle time. Must be able to have adequate communication skills to understand, read, and comprehend Quality Control instruction sheets. Must be able to perform basic math.
Effort:
Requires visual, mental attention, and concentration. Involves lifting (usually no more than 35 lbs.), bending, carrying, pulling, trimming, reaching, and clipping. Requires the ability to use both hands.
Responsibility:
