Responsibilities & Qualifications Position Overview Novelis Oswego has an exciting opportunity for a Roll Grinder! Roll Grinders will operate any of the four (4) roll grinding machines and produce high-quality ground rolls in strict compliance with our established standards. Responsibilities
Operate any of the four (4) roll grinding machines and produce high-quality ground rolls in strict compliance with our established standards. Use the SAP system to put in maintenance or safety work orders as needed. Communicate effectively within the department and externally using email. Utilize Lotus Notes systems to search for the latest job SOPs, JHAs, and JIs. Stay abreast of the latest process and product requirements using the Shop Floor Process Control Plan system. Participate in all Safety programs. Create written reports, document results, and maintain records; sharing information with coworkers is a must. Recognize “machine personality” and out-of-the-ordinary conditions with attention to detail.
Qualifications
