Basic understanding of ladder logic and programming fundamentals. Ongoing support of Operations and Maintenance Teams for their specific Control Systems service needs. Maintain documentation for all Control Systems and electrical schematics for Production Plants. Assist engineering/maintenance in project checkouts during commissioning of new equipment. Knowledge of single loop control instruments. Assist in repair calibration of all peripheral electrical and electronic equipment to include thermal, ink jet, and direct thermal printers, motion and static scales in all plants to maximize effectiveness and quality of repaired equipment. Assist in calibration of all instruments, to include flow, temperature, pressure, metal detection, and analytical; document calibration data. Troubleshooting of all PLC and control issues. Understanding of AC and DC variable speed drives. Able to troubleshoot and repair 480/277v, 240/120v, and 24v circuits. Communicate in a team environment. Properly prioritize issues and take personal accountability to ensure all repairs fit the core value of “excellence.” Promote Company Culture. Achieve common business goals through cooperative alignment with all departments. Active participation and ownership in your training and development program and associated activities, classes, and events, which will be held before, during, after shifts, and during scheduled days off. Help coach and train teammates and participate in on-the-job buddy training. Place high priority on food safety and sanitation by understanding and executing HCC’s food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Hold self and others accountable to HCC’s food safety & sanitation guidelines and policies by communicating any food safety incident, observation, or opportunity to your leadership team or teammates. Participate in food safety and sanitation root cause analysis and improvement activities when required. Must be willing and able to participate in departmental skills training program to achieve pay grade as outlined. Prioritize safety above all other job duties by having a safety-first approach at all times. Report any safety issues, observations, opportunities to your teams and follow up. Participate in departmental safety teams. Be part of the ERT team for the site. Maintain a positive attitude and promote company culture.
What You Will Need
English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English. High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. 1 year industrial maintenance experience. Ability to read one line drawings.
What Will Put You Ahead
Demonstrates proficiency on position-specific maintenance skills requirement forms. SAP knowledge. Industrial maintenance experience. AA degree in related field. Programming knowledge.
