Duties: Operate in the capacity of trusted financial advisor to all types of utilities (electric, gas and water), utility-scale independent power producers and investors in the broader energy infrastructure sector. Conduct financial analysis to help clients in their decision-making process. Assist Citis U.S. clients in achieving their strategic objectives, whether those are to grow via acquisition or to sell whole businesses or specific divisions or to optimize their capital structure. Identify the quantum and various types of debt instruments that are applicable in each instance. Collaborate with internal product partners to identify sources of such debt financing, as well as execute the process of placing the debt. Oversee equity financing by identifying the type of equity that is most applicable in each instance and quantifying it, while engaging with product partners to execute the equity placement to investors. Serve as a subject matter expert for the power, utilities and renewables sector in North America and use this expertise to advise clients such as strategic operators or financial investors. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
