Job Description
Role Purpose: Work closely with the I&E Specialist with the installation and upkeep of electrical instrumentation and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise. Maintain and improve equipment integrity via PM, PdM, repair, and/or project implementation. Provide electrical support/assistance for maintenance mechanics. Perform mechanical as well as electrical duties as needed to assist the department in maintaining plant efficiency. Responsibilities: Carry out electrical troubleshooting and repair operations with the guidance of I&E Specialist. Interprets instructions and resolves less complex problems to ensure the continuity of operational/administrative activities. Undertakes basic equipment maintenance to ensure optimum levels of efficiency and minimal reliance on contractors. Reacts promptly to specific operational problems seeking advice or referring the issue to an appropriate team member where necessary in order to guarantee the continuity of the operations. Takes responsibility for ensuring the quality of operational activities undertaken within own area. Observes all necessary safety procedures and maintains awareness of others, including contractors, of current safe practices in order to avoid damages to personnel, assets, and environment. Carries out pre-defined activities (PM, repairs, etc.) to ensure the timely delivery of services to internal customers. Applies working procedures and routines to ensure consistent, high-quality output to customers. Identifies potential improvements to work procedures to enhance quality standards and efficiency. Interface with I&E Specialist and Maintenance Planner/Scheduler. Builds and maintains an internal network of contacts to have adequate information to fulfill the requirements of the job. Reports issues and problems impacting on safety to minimize lost working time and accidents at work. About you Requirements: Completion of secondary school. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in industrial maintenance with a strong foundation in electrical field. Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance environment mainly working in the electrical field. Effective electrical troubleshooting. Maintenance mechanical skills. Welding. Basic computer skills (email). SAP Knowledge. English proficiency. Positive self-presentation.
