As a Prism Client Operations Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering excellence while navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of insurance verification. Your work will directly enhance the client experience and ensure patients and providers receive the exceptional care and support they deserve.
A day in the life of a Client Operations Professional:
Proficiently navigate current operations software; find and retrieve patient information within the system as it pertains to each patient/facility experience. Proficient use within Microsoft Outlook applications and how it’s relative to our operations and ability to service our customers with high level client care. Be knowledgeable of wound care products we provide to our patients and informational resources available; categories, properties, coverage and monthly allowable. Knowledgeable of all types of required documentation indicating medical necessity. Ability to evaluate the patient file for issues or errors as well as verifying the order is a valid dispensing or detailed written order. Effectively navigates via Online Portal or IVR for insurance coverage and understands limitations and delegates to the appropriate department for resolution. Accurately uploading an online or call-in eligibility form for each commercial beneficiary’s order. Know how to resource information as it pertains to your experience. Know Prism’s scope of service and the geographic areas we operate within. Focus on the highest industry and regulatory standards with continuous evaluations and improvements to meet national health care organization standards. Effectively communicate with clients to provide documentation to help streamline the ordering process. Answer the phone quickly in a professional and courteous manner and direct calls to the appropriate parties, if necessary. Ability to deliver dynamic, solution based service to all patients and clinicians. Be a team member and assist others with duties as needed. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Ability to handle a variety of challenging situations in a professional and courteous manner. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety and compliance and report any concerns of non-compliance in any area to your manager immediately. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 6 months in a customer focused/customer service environment. General office skills; typing, filing and answering phones. Ability to handle fast paced environment and multi-task. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
