MHS is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. Flex houseparents are couples who reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Flex houseparents provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. Job Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. Provide comfort to patients and guests by providing visits with pets. Applicants are by invitation only and must be certified by either Pet Partners of Utah or Intermountain Therapy Animals. Certified animal therapy teams provide diversion, motivation, and non-threatening social interactions to patients, families, and hospital staff. Pet teams will be visiting patients in rooms and waiting areas. Volunteers may choose the day and time they would like to volunteer (not all days and times may be available). Qualifications:
