E&I Technician
Job Description
Job Summary The E&I Technician is accountable for executing the maintenance and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities:
Support your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance. Ensure 100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards, as well as executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices. Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT). Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and personal development as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Ensure all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and train other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager. Perform maintenance and repair of the site’s electrical and instrumentation systems. Perform work order tasks and support work order flow through MMIS. Perform troubleshooting of the site’s electrical and instrumentation systems. Support scoping and planning of work orders. Follow parts procurement procedures. Support updating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs.

The following are requirements for this position:
High School Diploma or High School equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills.
The following knowledge, skills, and experience are helpful but not required:
1-3 years electrical experience with a two-year trade college degree. Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking. Manufacturing environment experience. Chemical manufacturing experience. Customer oriented. Action oriented. Problem solving. Conflict management. Professional customer relations. Good presentation skills.
