Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible schedule Wellness resources Job Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the role is responsible for facilitating intensive outpatient chemical dependency groups and individual counseling, case management, and treatment planning for clients referred to Nex Level Behavioral Health & Addiction Treatment Services, LLC. Essential Job Functions:
Perform clinical services as required by regulatory bodies. Develop a comprehensive clinical formulation based on the completion and/or review of assessments and the client's current functioning. Complete assessments as necessary, including AOD related assessments. Develop, assign, and monitor Individualized Service Plans and continuing care plans in cooperation with the multidisciplinary team. Provide chemical dependency counseling (individual, family, group), crisis intervention, and education. Provide case management to ensure identified problems are resolved or appropriate services accessed. Coordinate and/or participate in adjunct activities. Observe urinalysis collections and complete required paperwork. Participate in clinical staff meetings. Maintain clinical documentation/record keeping. Assume responsibility for all paperwork in assigned client records. Complete day-to-day services documentation as required by funders and accreditation bodies. Assist in the completion of monthly audits. Maintain an appropriate unit environment and assist in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Report problems/concerns regarding the unit to the clinical director for discussion, evaluation, and resolution.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform administrative functions of the unit. Assist in training of students and staff. Attend and participate in staff, in-service, and other meetings. Attend regular training throughout the year. Maintain credentials by attending necessary education or continuing education opportunities. Participate in “on-call” rotation as specified by unit policy and procedures. Adhere to Nex Level Behavioral Health & Addiction Treatment Services Code of Ethics.
Skills/Abilities Required:
Training/experience in all clinical aspects of chemical dependency treatment. Thorough knowledge of the disease concept of chemical dependency and its effects on clients and their families. Maturity and tolerance in interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills. Familiarity with principles and programs of AA, NA, and Al-Anon. Current knowledge of laws, rules, ethical standards, and safety regulations affecting this professional position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Excellent professional communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Strong organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to multi-task. Ability to work without supervision and demonstrate considerable initiative.

Effective communication with clients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Ability to interpret client feelings in a non-confrontational manner. Ensure client welfare during emergencies and non-routine situations. Sound judgment based on evaluation and decision-making abilities. Ability to use office equipment.
Qualifications:
Associate Arts or Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with two years of experience in chemical dependence or mental health treatment. LCDC II, LCDC III, LPC, LSW, LISW, or comparable license or certification with two years of paid full-time experience in the field.
Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines and equipment. Physical demands include standing and walking more than 80%, sitting more than 25%, and occasional lifting of light to moderate weight materials (less than thirty pounds). Work Environment: Must have physical and mental stamina to perform under time-limited pressure. Regular office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to accommodate programmatic needs. Exposure to Hazards: Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions with moderate noise and potential exposure to communicable diseases and/or blood-borne pathogens. #J-18808-Ljbffr
