Job Duties:
Warmly welcome guests to Farmhouse Inn and deliver warm, professional service. Assist guests with luggage and belongings to and from their guest rooms. Provide guests with a rundown and tour of functions and features in their guest room. Assist concierge team as needed to provide exceptional service quality. Deliver guest amenities to guest rooms and prepare refreshment packages as needed; maintain current and unexpired CA Food Handler Certificate. Support the housekeeping team with weekly linen inventory and restocking. Help maintain public areas near pool, reception, and guest pathways to ensure a snapshot of perfection at all times. Respond promptly to inquiries from guests and route them to the correct party as needed. Use the house car to drive to and from local businesses for guest-related errands. Open arriving packages and deliver them to the correct departments. Set up for daily, evening wine hour. Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests to promote loyalty and repeat business. Ensure the front of house arrival area is maintained to a high standard at all times.
General Requirements:
Education: High School Degree or equivalent. Experience: Experience in hospitality or a related guest service environment.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and hospitality skills. Excellent oral & written communication skills, attention to detail. Basic knowledge of electronic communication platforms (Outlook email, time keeping system, Microsoft Word, etc.). Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with composure. Ability to work interdepartmentally with Restaurant, Kitchen, Spa, and other Farmhouse teams. Maintain regular attendance, be consistently on time, and comply with Farmhouse Inn standards. Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs; weekend & holiday availability is mandatory. Current and unexpired CA Driver's License and auto insurance is a plus but not mandatory.

Pushing & Pulling: Up to 50lbs frequently. Lifting & Carrying: Average weight 50lbs frequently. Standing & Walking: Constantly. Kneeling & Bending: Frequently. Climbing: Occasional use of foot stools; frequent use of stairs. Reaching: Constantly. Sitting: Occasionally. Driving: Occasionally.
Pay Range: The starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour + Gratuity. This is the pay that Farmhouse Inn reasonably expects to pay.
