Job Description
Job Title: Materials Assistant Manager Seoyon E-Hwa Texas is a top-rated automotive parts manufacturing company specializing in interior automotive parts utilizing precision injection molding solutions. Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEM’s. As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Materials Assistant Manager who will manage the materials process and ensure the production of high-quality interior automotive parts at their new Hutto TX location. Summary of Position Success in this role will primarily be measured by providing process improvement, developing KPI’s to ensure alignment with material planning and supply chain optimization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing business needs, leverage data analytics, prioritize workload and build effective relationships with department leaders. This position will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by establishing materials management processes to support the manufacturing process. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, production, and receiving to ensure materials are received accurately and timely. Responsibilities Evaluate and improve materials management processes by leveraging data analytics and best practices to drive efficiency and accuracy. Assist in the development of KPI’s to ensure alignment with material planning and supply chain optimization. Author and/or review work instructions, forms, assembly instructions checklists and other documentation as required in accordance with cGMP and company guidelines. Perform inspections and conduct routine audits of work area for compliance to safety, sanitation and quality requirements. Identify non-conformance and process issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with the inventory department to ensure optimal stock levels. Utilize first in, first out (FIFO) approach to rotation of stock. Ensure effective employee relations by providing coaching, development and performance management. Supervise employee training and document retraining opportunities. Observe, analyze and research shipping operations and develop and implement an efficient process. Prepare finished product for shipping to include packaging, labeling, and processing shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure supplies and equipment for shipping functions are available. Ensure orders are shipped promptly with a goal of 100% accuracy. Create and manage existing and customized personnel schedules to maximize production. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience. Knowledge in operations or supply chain management in the technology industry. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Skill in balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results. Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and to prioritize workload to focus on dynamic business objectives. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Capability to utilize ERP system for inventory purposes. Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment.
