AS A GROUNDSKEEPING LABORER You will create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You will safely operate commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements. GROUNDSKEEPING LABORER DUTIES INCLUDE

Operating vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snowblowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Caring for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Pruning or trimming trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. QUALIFICATIONS WE LOOK FOR

Previous experience in landscape or similar industry. Knowledge and ability to use landscape-related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are a plus.
