Position Summary This position will be responsible for developing mission-critical software tools and aiding in the adoption of automated testing within the Software Quality Assurance department. As part of a small, focused, and motivated team within SQA, you will use software development best practices to implement new tools based on provided requirements. You will organize and lead sprint planning in coordination with Senior and Lead Engineers, and mentor Associate Engineers on processes and tools. Objectives of this role
Develop web-based tools and automation frameworks to support the SQA organization. Assist Senior and Lead Engineers in researching and suggesting appropriate technologies. Help resolve issues related to Tools/Automation using defect management systems. Enhance existing codebases and databases for upgrades and maintenance. Follow existing development processes and propose improvements to quality and efficiency. Explore open source or commercial technologies to support Tools/Automation efforts. Communicate effectively with SQA team members to resolve issues promptly. Assist the SQA Department with special projects. Mentor new Associate Tools/Automation Engineers. Maintain key contacts impacting Tools and Automation areas.
Requirements
0-5 years of relevant experience in programming, Tools, or Automation. Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework. Experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3. Experience with MS SQL Server. Experience with Python scripting language. Knowledge of Visual Studio and other Microsoft tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
