We are looking for a dedicated Lead Senior Project Manager to join our talented team at our office located in Somerset, New Jersey . In this role, you will provide leadership on assigned projects and act to achieve financial, safety, and client relationship objectives. Position Responsibilities Lead a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers while actively contributing to project execution, ensuring both leadership and hands-on involvement in key initiatives. Maintain a strong presence on-site, addressing issues as they arise and facilitating problem-solving among teams. Manage delivery of individual projects and hold primary responsibility for the achievement of cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Identify risks to project and corporation and work with Project Directors and Director of Operations to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain written preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, obtain review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations, and communicate to the project team. Work closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance against the target schedule and implement corrective actions against nonconformances. Monitor and report project costs, including values committed, forecast to commit, allowances for growth, and actual expenditures. Support Project Executives, Director of Operations, and General Manager in preparation of project delivery proposals. Work closely with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to ensure that field events, conditions, exceptions, and issues are fully reflected in cost reports. Manage changes to prime contracts, including change control documentation and related financial documentation. Coordinate with Accounting to invoice clients and manage Accounts Receivable to meet corporate goals. Work with the financial group to manage project financial issues. Monitor design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget. Prepare and manage subcontracts and purchase orders, including change control documentation and related financial documentation. Support project/client development process with presentations and related marketing activities. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree. 10-15 years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline, with a strong emphasis on the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrate significant experience both in terms of industry knowledge and positions of leadership. Context, Environment, & Safety This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period of time. Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client's location is possible depending on the assignment. You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for fieldwork for IPS employees or subcontractors.
