Careers Project Engineer - Water Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas Garver is seeking a Project Engineer in Fayetteville, Rogers, Conway, or North Little Rock, Arkansas, to join our Arkansas Water team. The Project Engineer will be led by a Project Manager and work with a team of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians. The role involves producing deliverables such as reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications. The Project Engineer must work closely with clients to exceed their service expectations. This position will be responsible for designing a variety of projects, including: Water distribution systems, including pumping and storage Sewer collection, pumping, and lift stations Coordination with State and Regulatory Agencies The Garver Water Team prides itself on being innovative and progressive, focusing on cost-effective designs that ensure long-term operational efficiency while maintaining community and environmental responsibility. Qualified candidates should be able to: Produce high-quality work consistently Manage workload efficiently to meet project schedules and budgets Demonstrate technical competency in water/wastewater and civil engineering Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously Manage time and work quality effectively Complete scope items within budget and schedule Report project status and progress to managers and clients Assist in developing Project Management and Quality Control Plans Support project workshops and meetings Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or biological engineering from an ABET-accredited program Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration or ability to obtain within six months At least two years of experience in municipal water/wastewater systems design Strong communication skills Ability to work independently with analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook Preferred Skills: Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months Construction management experience in municipal water/wastewater projects Master's degree in relevant engineering field AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS experience Grow With Us Garver offers programs such as paid professional memberships, support for industry licenses, and continuing education.
