Job Title : Litigation Associate Attorney Job Location : Columbus, GA Job Overview : A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to support its Atlanta office remotely from Columbus, Georgia. This full-time, remote position provides an opportunity for a dedicated attorney to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with flexible work arrangements and a strong focus on professional growth. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience and a valid Georgia bar license are encouraged to apply. Duties : Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, including pre-litigation, trial preparation, and post-trial activities. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Manage case files and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials. Collaborate with senior attorneys and participate in strategic planning for cases. Handle discovery, including document review and production. Maintain accurate and organized records related to cases and client interactions. Advise clients on legal risks, case strategy, and settlement options. Stay updated on relevant case law, statutes, and legal trends.
Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with legal technology and case management software is a plus.
Education : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications : Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
