Job Description
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Job Type: Travel Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 36 Job Notes: Night Shift; 1800 to 0630 shift, 36 hours per week, per Manager. ER and ICU experience preferred as some floating may be needed. Job Summary: To define those characteristics that are needed to perform successfully as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg and ICU Department. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Education And Qualifications:
Education and Experience: At least one year Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months and acute critical experience within the last 12 months or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years experience & in good standing. Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Licenses or Certifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California. Evidence of current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification. MICN desired to be completed within one year of hire. MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended. Qualifications: Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements: This job requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking inclines and declines, standing, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive hand motions. The employee must demonstrate a pull lift of 50 pounds from the floor. Potential Exposure: Category 1 for potential exposure to blood and body fluids. Protective measures should be used while engaged in Category 1 tasks with exposure potential. Job Roles: RN II, Emergency Department (AHCL) Age Served: Child, Adolescent, Adult Geriatric. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care service appropriate to the age of the patients served. Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changes. Meets professional behavior expectations and guest services expectations.
