Description Of Work:
Continuous Posting – Multiple Positions may be filled from this posting. Adjunct faculty are needed to teach General Education English courses (Composition and World Literature surveys). Priority will be given to candidates that are able to teach face-to-face courses in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, but online teaching opportunities may also be available. Competencies/Knowledge Skills, And Abilities Required In This Position: Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree with 18 hours in English. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Must be committed to excellence in student learning and the ability to promote student’s ability to succeed in a multicultural and global community. Online instruction at Elizabeth City State University requires documented familiarity with online instruction through Blackboard and willingness to take mandated university training.
