About the role | Ko te mahi nei As a Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a key role in partnering with leaders across diverse groups to ensure our organisation has the right people, skills, and capabilities to deliver services to our community. Your primary role is to empower and support hiring managers by helping them understand the recruitment lifecycle and the importance of processes to support our legal obligations. You will also take responsibility for taking job briefs and advising on tailored strategies, writing adverts, running assessment centres (when needed), arranging and conducting interviews, and providing advice to aid them in making strong recruitment decisions. All of this is to ensure the best possible outcome for the City. With your own portfolio to manage, you will have the autonomy and freedom to shape your day, utilising your flexible approach and openness to new ideas and solutions to drive excellent business outcomes. You will be fun, engaging, and have a great sense of humour, and can demonstrate: Previous recruitment experience within an agency or as an internal recruiter Experienced relationship management and comfortable working across multi-disciplinary teams at all levels. Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Location - This position is primarily based at the Christchurch City Council Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $81,000 to $95,000 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
