Salary: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality fetal echocardiographic assessments. Document and report echocardiogram results to healthcare providers. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during ultrasound examinations. Maintain ultrasound equipment and handle supplies inventory. Collaborate with obstetricians and pediatric cardiologists on patient management. Participate in staff training and development initiatives. Adhere to departmental protocols and national health and safety standards.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Certification in Fetal Echocardiography (RDMS or RDCS required). Proven experience performing fetal echocardiograms. Detailed knowledge of fetal cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Commitment to professional development and maintaining certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certification in pediatric or fetal echocardiography. Prior experience in a private practice or hospital setting. Experience with 3D/4D ultrasound technology. Ability to lead and train less experienced sonographers. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Commitment to ongoing professional education and training.
