Associate Director – Global Supply Chain (GSC) – Business Performance Partner
Job Description Summary: The Associate Director - GSC Business Performance Partner is part of the GSC Excellence and Strategy team (GSC E&S) and is responsible for supporting the GSC group with analytics and insights to drive improved business performance. Results are achieved by embedding with business owners to create a data driven culture to formalize performance management and provide analysis to connect the dots in line with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Request Management & Delivery Develop and roll out framework for analytic development and prioritisation, from intake to requirements gathering right through to deployment. Identify and analyse stakeholders as part of establishing and rolling out a Governance for the Data and Analytics service. Establish an integrated GSC E&S monthly business review framework. Provide decision support and insights for complex strategy decisions.
Business Partnering Communicate complex analytical outcomes and strategic insights to non-technical stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of organisational operations and workflows. Proactive regular engagement with customers to understand pain points, needs, prioritisation and expectation setting.
Analysis Leverage data to discover patterns and solve strategic analytic business problems. Execute sophisticated analyses and advanced modelling.
Team Management Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and developers. Manage resource allocation and project prioritization.
Change Management Structured approach to development of analytics.
Continuous Improvement Build a culture and a system of continuous improvement.
Experience and Competencies
In depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes - 8+ years of experience leading supply analytics. Experience working with large, complex data systems. Excellent attention to detail. Leadership qualities including collaboration and strategic vision.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience OR a Masters Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Computer Science/Analytics/Engineering discipline. Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management. The salary range for this position is: $182,070.00 - $235,620.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
