Job Summary: The Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist / Clinical Assistant Professor (GFT). The successful candidate will: Provide anesthesia care to pediatric and adult patients. Participate in clinical operating room supervision, classroom teaching, and evaluations for residents and medical students as required by the department. Mentor students/residents in research and scholarly activities. Participate in administrative duties and on call assignments as required by the department clinical service: Inpatient care of neonates at University Hospital Brooklyn (UHB) in operating room and out-of-operating room locations, plus ambulatory patients at UHB. Provide call coverage as required.
Required Qualifications:
New York State Medical License. Successful completion of training in an ACGME/accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program. Board Certified or Board eligible Anesthesiologist. Pediatric Fellowship-trained or equivalent and Pediatric Board Certified.
