Overview Mt. Carmel Behavioral Health , located in Columbus, OH , is seeking to add a Full-time Board-Certified Psychiatrist to their psychiatric medical staff. The facility is an 80-bed acute treatment center specializing in treating men and women who are experiencing behavioral or mental health crises. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate and facility policies or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans; document services and information in a timely manner. Maintain confidential documentation, compliance, and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years of post-graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility operates.
Licenses/Certifications:
Board certification in psychiatry. Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
