Job Overview: Our client, a $10B credit-focused alternative investment manager, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their legal and compliance team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate law, private equity, or finance-related legal work and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including investment agreements, NDAs, and corporate filings. Maintain and update entity formation and governance documentation for the firm and its affiliates. Conduct legal research and analysis to support compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with outside counsel on matters related to transactions, due diligence, and litigation. Manage deadlines and filings related to fund formation, SEC filings, and other regulatory obligations. Support the compliance team in ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Organize and maintain physical and electronic legal files, including contracts and corporate records. Provide support for special projects, including internal audits, investor relations, and legal training initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with exposure to private equity, credit, or financial services preferred. Strong understanding of corporate governance, fund formation, and compliance matters. High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
