About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic initiatives, and leading high-performing teams. The COO will be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions, including various departments, and must ensure that all operations align with the organization's mission. This senior executive will collaborate with the CEO and Executive Management Team to craft and execute strategic plans, operational budgets, and project initiatives. Key responsibilities for the COO include strategic leadership, operational excellence, team development, continuous improvement, and innovation, as well as policy and compliance.Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the financial services industry. A strong background in the financial services or credit union industry is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader with a proven ability to inspire and develop talent, a strategic thinker with strong operational acumen, and possess superior interpersonal and communication skills. The role also requires a commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for improving the lives of employees, members, and the community.
