About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of promoting the continued existence and resiliency of the U.S. abortion delivery sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the organization through a dynamic and evolving landscape, ensuring that its strategic priorities align with the sector's needs and commitment to equity and justice. This pivotal role involves overseeing organizational growth, driving strategic initiatives, and fortifying the company's position as a key funding intermediary for independent abortion providers. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including funders, providers, and movement partners, and providing strategic guidance to program staff to sustain the company's commitment to addressing challenges within the abortion delivery sector.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to lead with a strong commitment to the values of reproductive freedom and justice. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage a dedicated team, oversee 2 direct reports, and work in close collaboration with the Advisory Board. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the abortion landscape, experience in strategic funder investments, and a proven track record of responding to pressing challenges in the field. A background in community organizing, network weaving, and systems strengthening is highly valued. The Executive Director will be expected to ensure that the company's mission to support equitable access to abortion care is advanced through effective leadership, collaboration, and a dedication to the needs of abortion seekers, particularly those who are BIPOC, poor or low-income, or otherwise marginalized.
