About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Shared Functions in Medicaid. This key leadership role is responsible for strategy execution in various areas, including reporting and analytics, IT portfolio management, regulatory change management, and provider validation and oversight. The successful candidate will ensure that the end-to-end processes related to regulatory change and provider compliance with Medicaid laws are effectively managed. Additionally, the role involves overseeing Medicaid reporting and analytics, health plan operations solutions, and health care services solutions design and implementation. The Executive Director will also be accountable for the Population Health Management Initiative and will work closely with national, shared service, and market leaders to support the implementation of Medicaid strategy, regulatory, and operational requirements.Essential responsibilities for the Executive Director include maintaining a deep understanding of current and potential state and Federal Medicaid, CHIP, and related legislation and regulations, as well as the national and state health plan and provider competitive environment. The role requires the establishment and monitoring of key performance metrics, as well as the implementation of changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Medicaid line of business. The Executive Director will also be involved in initiatives critical to Medicaid participation and will lead, manage, and mentor Medicaid leaders and staff across the program. A strong background in Medicaid operations, a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize support from various functional areas are essential for this position.
