Base pay range $50.00/hr - $50.00/hr
Location: Utah Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Shift: On-Call (Nights/Weekends) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving hospice services. You will play a key role in ensuring patients are comfortable, safe, and well-cared-for during the on-call hours. This role involves working nights and weekends to provide support to patients and families during critical moments of care.
Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency calls for hospice patients during on-call shifts.
Provide direct nursing care and clinical assessments, including symptom management, pain relief, and end-of-life care.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Educate patients and families on comfort measures, medications, and end-of-life care procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and care provided.
Adhere to all hospice care policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah.
Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
Strong clinical skills, including experience in managing symptoms such as pain, nausea, and anxiety.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, empathetic care to patients and their families.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
Must have reliable transportation and be available for on-call shifts, including nights and weekends.
