Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented Tax & Accounting Specialist to support ongoing financial, tax, and reporting needs on a part-time basis. This is a senior-level role ideal for a CPA with strong tax and accounting skills who can contribute independently in a structured yet non-corporate environment. The position offers flexibility and meaningful responsibility without daily oversight.
Location: Beacon Falls, CT (Remote/Hybrid Options May Be Considered)
Schedule: Part-Time
Duration: contract temp to hire
Compensation: $85,000–$125,000 annually (based on experience and availability)
Key Responsibilities Prepare and support tax filings for individuals and business entities
Maintain accurate financial records and support general ledger activity
Organize and track tax documents, financial reporting, and supporting schedules
Coordinate with external CPAs and advisors to ensure timely and accurate submissions
Assist with cleanup and process improvement related to accounting documentation
Contribute to occasional estate or trust-related reporting, as needed
Qualifications CPA license required
Master’s degree in Accounting
Minimum 5 years of tax experience with individuals and entities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting
Highly organized, independent, and discreet professional
