Job Summary and Responsibilities
Perform various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams. Provide high‑quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of results and report to physicians as directed.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent clinical job training.
One registry in either:
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS‑AE) or Vascular Technology (RVT)
Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
Graduates of an accredited sonography program who meet criteria for the registry exam are eligible. An RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS credential must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
Where You'll Work
Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan – a 268‑bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. The hospital offers an advanced level trauma center, AirCare emergency helicopter transport, ambulance program, cardiac care including open‑heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, an accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at the free‑standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
Pay Range
$34.69 – $51.59 per hour
