Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for an assigned patient population.
Assist physician during examinations and procedures.
Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Promote patient’s independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand the condition, medications, and self‑care skills.
Maintain confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times, following HIPAA regulations and policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Work a regular and predictable attendance schedule.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program required.
State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure or current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with Idaho prior to start date.
BLS certification required.
Availability for PRN shifts.
