Your Role
As an RN, you'll help supervise staff, monitor patients, implement treatments, develop long-term care plans, administer medications, and follow up with families to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
What You'll Do
Resident Care: Provide the highest quality of patient care to residents.
Documentation: Promptly document care and observations in the clinical record using standard guidelines.
Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' physicians and families.
Medication Management: Administer medications, observe and report responses, and manage medication records.
Emergency Response: Assist with or initiate emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
Team Leadership: Help lead a shift with fellow RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering strong relationships and compliance with policies.
Essential Functions
Daily Care: Ensure all nursing documentation accurately reflects the care provided.
Safety: Promote optimal safety and effectiveness in medication management.
Compliance: Follow clinical policies, procedures, and federal/state guidelines.
Punctuality: Ensure regular attendance for assigned shifts.
Other Responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality and protect resident rights.
Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Uphold a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Skills & Abilities
Confidentiality: Maintain resident confidentiality and protect their rights.
HIPAA Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA laws and related regulations.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Positive Attitude: Bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to work every day.
Note: All employees must pass state-specific background checks before contact with patients/residents.

Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Current RN Licensure in the State employed. Valid CPR Certification.
Experience: Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
