Seeds of Peace Camp
Job Description
Full-time, summer nurse position for approximately 8 weeks (June 15 - August 11).
Nurses manage the overall health and wellness of our camp population, administer meds, triage injuries and illnesses, and escort campers into town for appointments or ER/Urgent Care visits./
Our team of ten nurses each live in private bedrooms adjacent to our air-conditioned health center./
Nurses will work on a rotating schedule with weekly days off. All meals are included and travel to/from camp is included./
Base salary begins at $1,500. We also provide a travel stipend, housing and meals./
Requirements:
Registered nurse + valid ME nursing license (Easy to obtain)
Must hold current CPR certification
You must be:
Organized
Able to coach a staff of counselors
Compassionate
Happy to live and work in a communal setting.
Eager to take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
Able to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
