Job Summary & Responsibilities
As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will:
Prepare patients and collect relevant information for procedures.
Perform sonographic examinations following defined protocols.
Observe patients’ conditions and notify physicians of unusual occurrences.
Compile and complete data sheets containing pertinent patient information and forward results to radiologists.
Analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
Take calls after regular hours to meet department needs.
Qualifications
Preferred: Two to three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two or more years in a hospital.
Required: ARDMS or ARRT registration.
Required: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Hours: PRN.
