Job Description

Qualifications
Requirements:
Has been employed for at least one year
Meets expectations or higher on the most recent annual review
Not on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) within the 6 months before application
Achieve and maintain at least two of the criteria listed below:
Committee Participation (Wellness, Quality, Infection Prevention and Control, Emergency Preparedness)
Must be a current participant in a committee and have held that role for a minimum of three months before the application
Participation requires active engagement with discussion during meetings and/or completion of committee work.
Evidence: Satisfactory completion of this requirement will be confirmed with the Committee Chair.
VFC backup
Criteria Cap: 2 per location
Evidence: VFC Certificate Annually
Cross Trained in both RN and NCC roles
Evidence:
Clinic Nurses: Successful completion of NCC Cross Training Checklist
Nurses who select this criteria will perform Clinic/NCC functions upon request based on scheduling needs determined by the NCC and Site Managers.
Managing Samples
Criteria Cap: 2 per location
Evidence: Site manager sign off
Provides education for other staff (MA, PAS, CHW)
Evidence: Two educational sessions are presented each year.
Education can be presented in person or as a pre-recorded slide deck
Presentations should be 10-15 min in length, evidence-based, and approved by the manager prior to distribution.
Additional training/certifications
Additional training & certifications must be beneficial to MLMC organizationally and to our patients. The CNO should make this determination before the employee completes the training. Submit training for review via the review form.
Evidence: Certificates and evidence of completion of training must be provided to Manager & HR
