Job Description
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Technician to support production operations involving electrical and electronic assemblies. This role plays a key part in the build, assembly, wiring, and testing of specialized equipment components within a structured manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Technician will perform a variety of production and assembly tasks, supporting the development and maintenance of electrical and electronic subsystems. This position requires adherence to work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assembly and manufacturing duties including cable fabrication, component builds, and sub‑assemblies
Execute basic machine wiring techniques including cutting, terminating, soldering, and crimping wire
Assemble electronic components and devices according to detailed specifications and blueprints
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and standard assembly equipment
Assemble and wire housing units and related components
Prepare kits for specialized electronic assemblies
Conduct low‑level functional testing and complete associated documentation
Maintain accurate production records and workflow documentation
Follow established work instructions and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Learn and expand skills within electromechanical assembly functions
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience
Experience working with electrical or electronic systems preferred
Technical training or associate degree in Electronics is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic test equipment
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
Intermediate math skills including metric measurements, fractions, and decimals
High attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Ability to differentiate colors and maintain good visual accuracy
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work at bench height
Comfortable accessing elevated areas using ladders or lifting equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
$20 - $23 an hour
