Family Nurse Practitioner
The practitioner provides outpatient, ambulatory, acute, and family practice services to IHS patients. Location of Performance: Pinon Health Center, Pinon, AZ Tour of Duty: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary & Acute Care: Manage outpatient primary care and walk-in acute care services for a patient population of approximately 11,000 (predominantly Navajo).
Specialized Clinics: Provide services in the Teen Clinic and Vaccine Clinics as directed.
Continuity of Care: Ensure seamless patient care, including rotating into different duty sections (e.g., Walk-In Care) as needed by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
Clinical Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of in-person (face-to-face) clinical work experience as a Certified FNP or APRN.
Licensure and Certification
Professional License: A current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Certified FNP/APN in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Board Certification: Must be board certified by an appropriately state-recognized FNP Credentialing Association or Board.
DEA License: A valid, unrestricted DEA license for schedule types II through V.
Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
$208,000 - $208,000 a year
