Position Details
Role: Registered Veterinary Technician (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Technician)
Status: Full-time
Salary: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour based on experience and licensure
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday; 8‑hour shifts

What Our Registered Veterinary Technicians Bring
Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician and certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Technician (or in the process of completing certification)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
A passion for rehabilitation, patient wellness, and improving quality of life
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and calm under pressure

What You’ll Do
Deliver compassionate, professional care to clients and rehabilitation patients
Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation programs for each patient
Conduct all client and staff interactions in alignment with Blue Springs’ core values
Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, referring veterinarians, and teammates via phone, email, and in person
Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all sessions
Manage scheduling for swim sessions, puppy play, conditioning, and rehabilitation appointments
Perform and teach therapeutic techniques, monitor patient progress, and adjust programs as needed
Assist new patients in acclimating to the pool and rehabilitation environment in a positive, encouraging manner
Collaborate closely with Dr. Kristy DesRoche and other Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapists to ensure consistent patient care
