Job Description
Overview Engineering Associates (EA) is looking for a dynamic, experienced, service-oriented Civil Design Technician.
POSITION CIVIL ENGINEER DESIGN TECHNICIAN
LOCATIONS CODY, POWELL
RESPONSIBILITIES Design municipal public works projects, prepare and manage project budgets and schedules, prepare construction drawings and specifications, and build client relationships.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members; demonstrate self-motivation.
REQUIREMENTS Associates degree in civil technology with a minimum of 3 years using Civil 3D or equivalent experience and education
Extensive Civil 3D design and drafting experience
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, a proven track record of engaging clients, a client-focused approach, and a commitment to quality service
Limited travel is necessary; a valid driver’s license is required
DUTIES AND SKILLS Duties include designing municipal public works projects, preparing and managing project budgets and schedules, preparing construction drawings and specifications, and building client relationships.
Excellent communication skills; self-motivation; experience with business development and marketing is valued
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation is based on experience, range is $30 to $35/hour.
Hourly wage with flex-time and overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly wage
