Responsibilities

Continuously monitors and adjusts equipment for optimal performance and quality

Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record

Maintain a good attendance record

Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays

Maintains good communication with all plant personnel (other shifts, departments and managers)

Maintain production rates

Understand and perform assigned job tasks independently; be flexible to work in team settings

Maintain good housekeeping and complete sanitation duties and paperwork as required

Conduct daily inspections, reporting any problems noted

Review quality control documents and make necessary adjustments

Perform maintenance and sanitation on machines as required

May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1+ years of experience operating machinery in a factory setting

A positive attitude and team mindset

A desire to learn various operations and grow with the company

Focus on Safety—commitment to zero-injury culture; understanding and following all safety procedures and PPE

Ability to lift 50 lbs

High school diploma or GED

At least 18 years of age

Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including days and nights, some weekends and holidays

Excellent attendance (on time, work scheduled, stay until shift ends)

Observant and able to address concerns that may arise

Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Previous forklift experience is a plus

Ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders

Compensation note Base pay offered may vary depending on factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and non-exempt employees will be paid overtime on qualifying hours. If hired, employees are in an “at-will” position and pay or other discretionary compensation programs may change.

Pay : $14.50/hour with $1.50 night shift differential
