About the Role:
The Director of Distribution is responsible for leading the operations and expansion of the Oxford of Lyons (GA) distribution center, a shared services facility performing fulfillment for every Brand in the OXM portfolio across e-commerce, company-owned retail, and wholesale channels of distribution. The operation must provide a high service level of on-time and complete shipping to each Brand's specific requirements, while maintaining effective productivity, expense control, safety, loss-prevention, and employee relations. The Director continuously evaluates and improves the facility's organization, as well as existing and proposed systems, processes, technology and operating data to determine the extent to which the distribution center is meeting the current and future requirements of the Brands and what changes/enhancements are needed in order to continue to provide the required services. Serves as a key project leader for Lyons and enterprise-wide distribution projects.
Lead and ensure facility performance to defined operational procedures that control unloading, verification and receiving of incoming goods; put-away to storage and physical inventory accuracy; replenishment of picking areas; order picking and packing; loading, verification, and dispatch of outgoing shipments; value-added services and returns processing. Develop and maintain productivity/performance standards for all staff and operations. Track and report key performance metrics. Utilize resulting data to proactively identify improvement opportunities for both operational processes, individual employee's performance, and future growth opportunities. Provides strategic insight and leadership for Lyons facility and enterprise-wide distribution projects or initiatives. Leads the Lyons implementation of enterprise-wide projects and ensures successful ongoing operations. Develop reporting and methodology to analyze and track costs for all services provided. Develop and communicate appropriate inter-company charges to each Brand, proactively. Establish and maintain effective communications and excellent customer relationships with all current and future Brand stakeholders. Strategically balance needs of stakeholders with business operations, ensuring alignment and partnership. Develop and present facility budgets for executive approval. Ensure all expenses are properly projected, tracked, and allocated. Analyze P&L statements to ensure accuracy and to identify variances that indicate necessary corrective actions and/or budget adjustments. Demonstrate initiative in identifying process, systems, and/or equipment-based opportunities to enhance the productivity and output of the facility. Coordinate with internal and external resources to develop the appropriate project plans and timelines, and project the required investments needed to realize those opportunities. Determine organizational structure and lead an effective management team, develop individual performance objectives and expectations, evaluate, and manage each team member to those expectations. Make merit-based or other salary and/or compensation changes based on performance.

BS/BA in Business, Operations/Supply Chain, or related area 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in a fast-paced warehousing/distribution environment. Proven experience establishing, implementing, and managing Key Performance Indicators within a distribution center setting. Proven experience developing budgets, cost allocations, and P&L analysis. Familiarity with state-of-the-art distribution technologies/equipment (ex: Goods-to-Person, Sortation and Put-Wall equipment, etc.) and related WCS (Warehouse Control Systems), ideally including direct experience in a leadership role in an implementation project. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ideally including direct experience in a key leadership role with a WMS implementation project. Project Management, including tracking, reporting, and critical path management, ideally in managing major equipment and technology changes within a Distribution Center. Highly competent in use of Microsoft Office Suite, including analytical and reporting tools.
