Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Lifeguard position includes the following duties: Assists the Head Guards, Pool Managers, Aquatics Coordinators, and Recreation Supervisor in the daily operations of the aquatics facilities by performing tasks and duties as assigned. Ensures exceptional safety standards are always maintained to protect the patrons and staff of the aquatic facilities. Lifeguards are expected to be available throughout the entire season for at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week unless otherwise requested during the job interview.

The City has implemented two bonus programs for seasonal staff!

Referral Bonus Any applicant can refer up to 4 candidates ($50* per candidate). Rehires are not eligible to be referred but are encouraged to refer other candidates. Essential Job Functions
