Emergency Room RN Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel contract in rural Alaska. This night shift position is based in a remote ER setting, where nurses must be confident, flexible, and capable of working independently with limited on-site support. You'll deliver hands-on emergency care to a wide range of patients in a tight-knit community, making a real impact in a region where healthcare access is critical.
Qualifications
- Current RN license from any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum 2 years of ER or critical care experience
- NIHSS certification required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Willingness to complete FEMA Courses IS-100.C, IS-200.C & IS-700.B
- Strong clinical and triage skills
- Experience in rural or low-resource settings a plus
Travel and Housing
- Round-trip coach class airfare included
- Housing provided
- Shared hospital vehicle available for trips into town
- Housing does not include phone, cable, internet, or furniture rental
- No smoking or pets permitted in housing
