The BA role is critical to this project. It will be relied upon to understand current business processes and to promote a viable future state vision that meets OIC’s needs as outlined in Ohio Administrative (OAC) and Revised Code (ORC). The BA must be able to effectively organize and track work. OIC will look to the BA to assist with developing business analyst process standards, including establishing criteria for a Definition of Ready (DoR). BA activities will include developing and refining user stories to meet the DoR. This position requires a strong understanding and experience refining work backlogs, as well as experience organizing and tracking work items. The BA will develop supporting artifacts such as journey maps, business workflows, and enterprise analysis, develop templates, and so on, based on interviews with the technical team, business team, and subject matter experts.
