I. Position Summary:
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care while enhancing the quality of life for patients. The RN will leverage the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide top-notch care. As a key member of the clinical support team, you will work alongside various multidisciplinary professionals to address clinical needs efficiently.

III. Position Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Staff RN include but are not limited to:
- Delivering care within the established scope and standards of nursing practice.
- Collaborating with the clinical support team to meet patient needs and monitor care outcomes.
- Implementing best practice guidelines and evidence-based interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accountability for a designated group of patients in a primary nursing model.
- Participating in care planning and promoting patient autonomy and choice.
- Documenting care accurately in electronic medical records.
- Identifying resources to ensure safe and effective care provision.
- Delegating and supervising care provided by licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
- Engaging in professional development and maintaining accountability for learning needs.
- Participating in governance and improvement projects to enhance care quality.
- Engaging in activities to support patient needs, such as assisting with meals.
- Providing mentorship and support to all staff members.
- Assuming charge nurse responsibilities as needed, including managing shifts and clinical oversight.
IV. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school, BSN preferred.
- Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
- Preferred previous nursing experience.
- Understanding and alignment with HRC care philosophy.
- Professional, proactive, and results-driven with a positive demeanor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to innovate, adapt, and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Motivated to learn and flexible to change.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Salary Range: $32.13 - $48.20
