It's the way you want to be treated. We are seeking a seasoned Director of Supply to lead within a healthcare system. This position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in supply chain management, distribution, and vendor relations to optimize operations and drive significant savings. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to developing innovative supply solutions and fostering inter-departmental and vendor collaboration.
Position Summary:
Strategic, but also hands-on supply chain leader. Reports to Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and works closely with all Silver Cross employees and physicians to develop and implement policies and procedures, and new technologies to ensure that standardized "best practice" supply chain operations are implemented. Ensures excellent customer service by communicating frequently regarding logistics, contracting, expense management, and purchasing initiatives. Responsible for developing the annual departmental and capital budgets and manages operations to meet/exceed approved targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in supply chain management, distribution, and vendor relations to optimize operations and drive significant savings The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to developing innovative supply solutions and fostering inter-departmental and vendor collaboration Manage central warehousing and distribution, focusing on reducing costs and maximizing savings Identify supply chain improvements to capture more revenue, linking inventory with reimbursement Share program results with leadership and guide teams on efficient resource use Work with purchasing and finance to ensure accurate tracking, purchasing, and billing Lead site-specific initiatives for product evaluations, conversions, and cost-saving Boost automation by implementing Just In Time (JIT), stockless systems, and other efficiency tools Build vendor partnerships and streamline distribution across locations Adopt new tech solutions for inventory tracking, bar-coding, and e-commerce Represent the organization in developing innovative supply chain systems Manage hiring, development, and performance for the supply chain team Oversee budgeting to keep spending in line with organizational goals Experienced in Value Analysis and/or Operational Improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications : Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or related field 7+ years in distribution/supply chain, with 3+ years in Director-level or above experience within a large hospital system Knowledge of JIT, electronic data processes, and healthcare regulatory requirements Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities Analysis Skills, Automation, Billing, Budget Management, Communication Skills, Cost Control, Distribution Channel, Distribution Management, Distribution Warehousing, Finance, Healthcare, Hospital Systems, Just in Time (JIT), Leadership, Product Programs, Product Testing, Purchasing/Procurement, Regulatory Requirements, Supplier Optimization, Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Vendor/Supplier Relations, eCommerce
Education and Training :
Minimum ten to fifteen years significant experience in materials management, logistics/distribution, inventory management/reduction, forecasting, deployment, and scheduling preferably in a health care setting.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or healthcare related field.

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $57.07 - $72.77 The final offered salary will take several factors into consideration, including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
