Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) Project Manager to join our team for a project based in Largo, MD. The FF&E Project Manager will oversee the coordination of projects involving the retrieval, delivery, improvements, reconfigurations, and moves of furniture. This role requires strong project management skills, particularly in working with FF&E, and involves close collaboration with clients, architects, and designers.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate and coordinate the selection of FF&E and other OS&E with clients and architects/designers.Create and review independent cost estimates for construction and obtain final approval from the client.Draft furniture layouts for modular systems and office furniture.Prepare a detailed “Scope of Work†for inclusion in Requests for Proposal (RFPs).Review and approve Bills of Materials (BOM) related to projects.Prepare and track construction or FF&E punch lists through to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and approval.Oversee the installation and coordination of FF&E for a 230,000-square-foot college student hall with classrooms, conference spaces, and faculty offices.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and at least 5-8 years of specialized experience in FF&E, Bluebeam, and management of FF&E projects totaling $50,000,000 or more, including budgets of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Alternatively, at least 7 years of relevant experience and professional credentials in the commercial and/or government building industry.Ability to pass HSPD-12 clearance or higher.Ability to pass a criminal or other background check.Familiarity with commercial databases and information systems used to track real property and financial information.Experience managing construction projects, particularly with the General Services Administration (GSA) and knowledge of GSA rules, policies, and workflow.Working knowledge of Public Funded (State or County) projects, particularly with Maryland Procurement Standards.Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage assignments effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), Outlook, and general keyboarding skills.Prior experience managing large relocation/facility projects.Preferred Qualifications:CCM® (Certified Construction Manager) professional credential.PMP® (Project Management Professional) and LEED AP® BD+C (Building Design + Construction) professional credentials.Pay Range:Â$45- $55Hours and ShiftÂMonday- Friday8 AM- 5 PMHow to Apply: Interested candidates should contact Jaie Rogers at [email protected] or call 678-802-6632.
