About the Role
We’re searching for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic Specialty Mining Chemicals team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure our manufacturing processes operate safely and efficiently.

Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E)
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards during all maintenance activities. Engage in safety inspections and training to promote a secure workplace.
Maintenance and Repair
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and instrumentation devices. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
Calibration
Calibrate instrumentation and control systems, ensuring accuracy and operational reliability. Assist with the installation and testing of new equipment to meet safety and design specifications.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, calibrations, and equipment status.
Emergency Response
Respond quickly to equipment emergencies to minimize production downtime and uphold safety standards.
What You Will Bring
4 years of trade qualification in electrical and instrumentation. Experience in a chemical manufacturing or industrial context as an Instrument & Electrical Technician. Strong troubleshooting skills in control systems, PLCs, and process instrumentation. Familiarity with safety protocols for hazardous working conditions. Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Role Environment
You will be part of the Winnemucca Maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Execution Superintendent. Our facility includes two NaCN solutions plants and one NaCN solids plant, and your commitment to safety will be critical in achieving maintenance and operational efficiencies.
